Transit Maintenance Assessment

Experience in the transportation industry has shown that public transportation agencies contract with private companies to operate and maintain their equipment. Mechanics in the passenger transportation industry have considerable skill gaps when it comes to auto, bus and truck maintenance and repair. Most of the employees hired as mechanics do not have the basic fundamentals of any of the vehicle's systems which results in longer equipment down time, more failures with reduced mean distance between failures, sub standard repairs leading to additional failures, etc.

Our team can be contracted to forensically review  contractors preventative maintenance program, inspect vehicles, and provide a report that identifies issues, defects and assess inspected vehicle condition. We check to make sure the preventive maintenance program adheres to the minimum standards of the Code of Federal regulations 49 (CFR49) parts 38, 392, 393, 396 and 571. Make sure that contractors comply with proper documentation and record retention.

Maintenance Asset tracking and maintenance software

We have considerable amount of experience with Trapeze Enterprise Asset Management software used to develop and track repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles. We would gladly offer our services for agencies or companies considering implementing Asset Works FA Suite or Trapeze EAM. This includes setting up categories, pm programs, maintenance classes, etc. As a person that has made mistakes setting up the software and identifying where we made those mistakes and the features and operation of the software, we can assist in setting up, implementation and training of Trapeze EAM.
